12月28日，由中鐵十四局集團參建的南京燕子磯長江隧道建成通車，成為連接南京主城的又一條免費過江通道。南京燕子磯長江隧道位于南京長江大橋和南京八卦洲長江大橋之間，路線全長5.723公里，雙洞6車道，行車速度80公里/小時。對構(gòu)建南京“江南江北雙主城”發(fā)展格局、推進寧鎮(zhèn)揚一體化發(fā)展和南京都市圈建設都具有重要意義。
